Welcome to the Kaaitheater and the Kaaistudio’sEach season the Kaaitheater announces more than 70 productions by performers and groups from some 20 countries. They include little- and well-known names and some have been linked to the Kaaitheater for years while others are here for the first time.
That also applies to our audience: some are regulars, but we also welcome a lot of new visitors every season, young and old and everything in between.
We have been offering our visitors a range of facilities for a long time now: affordable tickets that get cheaper the more you come, reductions for just about everyone, introductions, discussions after the show, debates, talks and so on.

Matinee Kadee: Sunday matinees + free workshops for children
Not everyone wants to go to the theatre in the evening. Which is why we are starting a series of four Sunday afternoon matinees. And parents can bring their children too.
While you watch the show, your children can have some creative fun in various art forms. We pay for professional instructors for them. These workshops are for children from 4 to 12. The number of places is limited, so it’s essential to book in advance. Care can also be provided for younger brothers and sisters. This must be requested in advance.

Teachers
A little preparation doubles your enjoyment of the performance. Our programme is suitable for students over 16. We let teachers know about special productions that you can prepare for in the classroom using a teacher’s pack.
Teachers, let us know who you are, and you will occasionally receive an invitation to a tryout or a dress rehearsal.

Free introductions and after-show discussions
A number of introductory talks and after-show discussions are organised in the course of the season. Admission is free for everyone and they are announced on our website and in our bimonthly programme bulletins.
